St. Aloysius' College has, in the last few years, invested heavily in the upgrading of its Sports facilities.
The Secondary School students make use of the College Inner and Outer Grounds as well as the Sports Complex.
The Sports Complex includes a multi-purpose pavillion (for indoor basketball, volleyball and handball games), a health and fitness centre, conference hall and a cafeteria, which has been in use since 1997. The second part of the project is currently under construction.
The Sports Complex, as with all the other sports facilities, is primarily intended for the College students. After school hours however, they are open to outsiders against a fee.
There is currently a request for proposals for the development, maintenance and management of the Sports Complex. A document outlining the scope of the request for proposals can be donloaded here.
The College outer ground - originally built in the 1950s - was upgraded during the year 2001-2002 and has just been upgraded again (Summer 2015). The full-size football ground has a synthetic turf surface laid to UEFA and FIFA standards. The ground also has a permanently lined running track.
The College inner ground has been extensively refurbished and a number of modules have been installed. As a project it was complete and started being used in May 2012.
