Two new Jesuit novices from Malta

Andrew Camilleri

Andrew Camilleri and Robert Rizzo have left Malta for Genoa, Italy, where they will embark on their two year novitiate under the supervision of the new novice master, Agostino Caletti SJ, and Pierre Grech Marguerat SJ, assistant to the novice master.

Andrew and Robert will be guided through various experiences ('experiments' in Ignatian terms) during these two years, including the Ignatian month retreat, the pilgrimage which will see them travel a long distance with very little while they depend on charity, periods of study and ongoing formation.

Andrew, 25, who hails from Balzan, attended St Aloysius' College Secondary and Sixth Form, graduated in medicine and worked in Cambridge, UK. Robert, 22, from Kappara, studied at St Michael's Foundation and Junior College, followed by employment with HSBC.

We wish them both an excellent novitiate experience and blessings.

Robert Rizzo
